Growth happens at different paces for each of us as individuals, and the same goes for our businesses. While no one can predict the future to determine how long you can expect to wait to reach your particular goals, there are certainly factors that can help speed things along.

  • How much time are you dedicating to your business? Without specific time dedicated to the work of building your business, you can’t expect things to just happen for you. Spending time editing your website, actively sourcing new clients, or updating your social media profiles are just a few things that encourage growth.

  • Do you know your priorities? Someone can tell you 1000 things you can do with your time that could “grow your business,” but have YOU sat down and really determined what you need to focus on? This is key so you can spend your precious time moving forward and not spinning your wheels.

  • What are you hurdles? Knowing what is blocking you from succeeding is the first step to moving past it. Acknowledging your weaknesses and actively working on them is vital to you and your business.

  • What does your support system look like? Do you have people in your life that help you face the challenges that you will inevitably encounter? Whether it is a partner, friend, or on-line community, you need to have people around you to bounce ideas off of and to just talk about the daily struggles owning and running your business can lead to. Just because it happens to everyone, doesn’t mean you have to do it alone.
